In-form Medeama striker Jonathan Sowah has earned his debut call-up to the Black Stars ahead of Ghana’s AFCON tie against the Central African Republic (CAR).
Chris Hughton named his 25man squad for Ghana’s crucial clash and handed the young man his maiden call up following his outstanding performance for Medeama Sporting Club, becoming the second local-based player to be named by Chris Hughton after Hafiz Konkoni earned a late call-up a few months ago.
Sowah has been a pillar for the yellow and mauve club since joining them, scoring 12 goals in 18 appearances.
