Ghanaian and FK Crvena Zvezda winger, Osman Bukari has expressed his disappointment in their 2-2 draw with Young Boys FC on matchday 2 of the UEFA Champions League group games.
The 24year old despite scoring and assisting on the night, revealed his dissatisfaction with the results in a post on social media.
“I’m glad that I was declared the player of the match, but I’m really sorry that we didn’t manage to win. We wanted to win, we played well, but in the end it was 2:2. Thanks to the fans for coming in such numbers and for giving us the wind at our backs during 90 minutes,” said the winger after the game.
Bukari set up Cherif Ndiaye for his side’s first goal with a beautiful cross on the 35th minute but the visitors levelled and took the lead through Filip Ugrinic and Cedric Itten.
The former KAA Gent forward brought back the Rajko Mitic stadium into life with a beautiful effort just two minutes to end duration to earn a point for the Serbian giants.
Bukari has now scored two goals and provided an assist in two games in the UEFA Champions League.
