Legon Cities shot stopper, Fatau Dauda is of the view that had the Royals Legon Cities been relegated he and Ghana’s former captain Asamoah Gyan would have been dead looking at their pedigree in the game.
Legon Cities survived the scare of relegation when they had to come back twice against Techiman Eleven wonders to win 3-2 in a game many finds it closer to a training game.
Addressing the press after the game, Fatau Dauda claimed it was a difficult season for them and are happy to have narrowly escaped relegation. He said,
” I am supposed to be the happiest player today”
“Myself and Asamoah because of our pedigree taking Legon Cities to relegation, we are dead but God Almighty did it for us by escaping relegation narrowly”
