Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho Tamakloe has said that Ghana’s two heavyweights Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko don’t have quality players to attract more fans to the stadium like it was in the past years.
Speaking to Asempa FM, Dr Tamakloe revealed that the low turn up at the super clash between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra sports stadium where the Phobians won, was because there no classy talents in both teams.
“The sort of footballers we have now are not classy. This worries a lot of spectators. If you look at the match we played the last time between Hearts of Oak and Kotoko, it was a big match but you saw what happened at the stadium even when the gates were opened freely. People failed to turn up,” the He told Asempa FM.
The 2023 super clash between Asante Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak recorded one of the lowest numbers ever in the history of Ghana football and this has left many worried.
