Division one side, Samartex FC mildfield sensation Benjamin Yorke on the verge of joining Glourious Hearts of Oak as he was spotted with Alhaji Akambi.
The mercurial attacker was seen with the Rainbow’s management member Alhaji Akambi at Cape Coast on thursday which igniting rumours over a possible transfer deal
The 21 year old attacker reportedly has rejected a new contract extension offer from Samartex with Asante Kotoko and Medeama SC all keeping a close eye on him.
Yorke, for most people is dubbed the most valuable player in the division one league this season following his exploit for Samartex and could join the Rainbow outfit on a free transfer from next month.
He was part of the Black Stars ‘B’ squad that failed to make it to the 2020 CHAN tournament but obviously his contribution in general was impeccable.
Coach Samuel Boadu is looking to beef up the his squad with next year’s CAF Champions League football in sight as Hearts Of Oak are one step away from victory to be crowned champions of the Ghana Premier League since 2009.
They play Liberty Professionals this weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium in week 33 of the campaign.
