Karela United came back from their matchday one defeat to beat Berekum Chelsea at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday, September 24 2023.

The Pride and Passion side who last played their home games have now moved to Tamale as their new home.

A brace from Evans Adomako in the 19th and 53rd minute and a third by George Amomoo in the 63rd minute put Karela in comfortable lead.
Stephen Amankona however got a consolation for the Bibiries from a spot kick on 78 minutes to register his third goal of the campaign.

Karela United will travel to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to face Asante Kotoko while Berekum Chelsea will host Accra Lions for their next match.
