Kumasi King Faisal beat Legon Cities at home to boost their survival chances on match day 33 of the betPawa Premier League.

The Insha Allah boys who are in the bottom three had to up their games and earned a deserving victory at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.

King Faisal went ahead in the 23rd minute of the game when a player was fouled in the eighteen yard box of Legon Cities.
Abdul Latif stepped up and slot home beautifully.

Back in the second half, Abdul Latif extended the lead for the home team who looked to run away with it.

Maxwell Konadu’s men fought harder and reduced the lead to 1 in the 76th minute through Ebenezer Armegah.

King Faisal however sealed the victory with a third goal through Yahaya Baba’s 79th strike.
The Insha Allah boys would have to beat Real Tamale United in their final game to avoid relegation.
