Black Queens midfielder Jennifer Cudjoe is confident about the team’s preparedness for the Ghana Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) qualifier against Rwanda.

Speaking to the GFA media team, Cudjoe emphasized her belief in the team’s preparedness, stating, ‘’I think for me, what I’ve seen, everybody is ready. We just need to keep doing what we did before”.

The FC Nordsjaelland midfielder acknowledged that Rwanda is not an easy opponent but emphasized the team’s determination to uphold their winning streak.

‘’This is not an easy team as everybody would think but every team is different so we are ready. I feel like I am ready, the players are ready and we are ready to just continue winning and get into the AFCON and also the Olympics.’’ She added

The Black Queens of Ghana will play the She-Amavubi of Rwanda on Wednesday September 20 at the Kigali Pelè stadium in Kigali. A return leg is scheduled for September 26 in Accra.

The winner of this contest will go on to face the victor of the clash between The Gambia and Namibia.

Ghana missed the previous WAFCON held in Morocco and is eager to secure qualification for the upcoming edition next year.
