The Court of Arbitration for sport(CAS) has annulled all sanctions imposed on players involved in an alleged match-fixing by the Ghana football association in 2021 according to Joysports reporter Muftawu Nabila.

The Swiss based court has ordered the Ghana football association to pay the players 6,300 Swiss Francs in a statement released on Thursday afternoon.

The players were handed bans by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) after the Association concluded investigations into alleged match fixing involving Inter Allies Football Club and Ashanti Gold Sporting Club.

The GFA however ruled that 25 players has to be banned for a maximum of 24 months from football.
