English-born Ghanaian forward, Charles Sagoe Jr was over the moon after his  outstanding performance for Arsenal in their Carabao Cup victory.

Sagoe Jr was handed a starting role in Arsenal’s Fourth-round tie against Brentford on Wednesday night, and made an excellent impact for the North London Club.

The Ghanaian youngster took to social media to express his joy after a memorable night.

“It’s a dream come true to have made my professional debut with Arsenal last night. It’s a proud moment for me and my family and it’s an experience I’ll never forget. Thank you for your support!,” he wrote on social media after the game.

Reiss Nelson got the only goal of the game in the 8th minute at the GTech Community Park after he was set up by Eddie Nketiah.

Sagoe Jr lasted 68 minutes before he was replaced by Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus with Arsenal advancing  to the next round of the Competition.
