Ghanaian forward Ibrahim Osman has been crowned as the best young player for the month of August in the Danish Superliga.
The 18-year-old forward provided two crucial assists during a standout month for FC Nordsjaelland. Their victories, including a notable win against FC Midtjylland, propelled them to the top of the Danish Superliga table.
Osman joined Danish side Nordsjælland in early 2023 from the Right-to- Dream Academy in Ghana. He made his debut in February same year, coming on as substitute for his fellow countryman, Ernest Nuamah, during a thrilling 4–2 victory over Odense Boldklub.
He was presented the award by Ghana legend and FC Nordsjaelland youth coach, Michael Essien at the training grounds of FC Nordsjaelland.
Osman expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the staff and his teammates who played a pivotal role in his achievement.
“Thank you the staff and my teammates I couldn’t have gotten this without you. All I want to say is thank you and more to come thank you,” Osman stated
