Everton have beaten league leaders Arsenal to move out of the relegation zone with Sean Dyche managing his first game of the campaign.
This defeat for Arsenal means they have missed the opportunity to go 8 points clear of Man City who have a game against Tottenham on Sunday.
In the first half, Arsenal did not seem to play their free flowing football despite dominating possession recording only a shot on target.
Everton on the other hand seemed to go all out against the table toppers by pressing the gunners and sending their wide to block Arteta’s wingers.
The game did not much in the second half as Everton took the lead on the hour mark through James Tarkowski from a corner.
The Gunners did not find their rhythm after conceding as the tofffees sat back to defend their hard earned goal to give Sean Dyche the perfect start in his Everton tenure.
