Ligue un club Olympique Lyonnais have sealed a season long loan deal (with an obligation to buy) with FC Nordsjaelland for 19 year old Ghanaian Ernest Nuamah.
Nuamah joins Olympique Lyonnais after graduating from the Rights to Dream Academy in 2022 before his 16 month spell in the Danish SuperLiga.
The deal is worth €30m (€25m fixed fee plus €5m add-ons) and the contract is until 2028. This will make him Lyon’s record signing and the most expensive player in the Danish SuperLiga.
The young Ghanaian has already played four matches for his club this season and has scored five goals and has also registered an assist.
In addition to his goals this season are two awards in July; Player of the month and Young Player of the month award for the month of July.
Lyon’s head of recruitment Matthieu Louis-Jean has been following the 19yo for two years as per Fabrizio Romano.
