Yet in an interview with Kessben FM, Samuel Boadu dismissed the reports, stating that there has been no formal approach from Cornerstones FC.
‘I have not had any engagement with them [Cornerstone FC]. It’s never true. Never Never. I have not been approached by them. Nana the team owner is my friend. When I come to Kumasi sometimes I visit him but I have no interest in joining the team. He told Kessben FM
The Ghana under-20 coach expressed surprise and disappointment at the spread of such information without any contact or discussion with him. He called on Cornerstones FC to stop the false reports and reiterated his commitment to his current coaching path.
‘’They should stop that; it is not true. I’m even surprised. How can you put someone out there without contacting him first? Maybe it is an agenda or something. I am not beyond Division 2, but I have made up my mind on that,” Boadu asserted, emphasizing his focus on his coaching journey
As the former coach of Hearts of Oak in 2021, Boadu had an impressive run, winning four trophies with the club.
