At the GFA Congress held in Tamale on Thursday, Samuel Anim Addo was unsuccessful in keeping his position on the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
After serving for the first four years as one of the three Division One delegates on the council, Anim Addo, the former Ghaan captain’s business manager, hoped to keep his position.
He did not, however, receive enough votes to be among the top three of the five candidates that ran in the elections.
Mark Addo, the Association’s vice president, won the election with 32 votes to keep his seat on the council. Gideon Fosu came in second place with 29, one vote ahead of third place, Edward Nobel.
