In a recent disclosure on Kumasi-based Akoma FM, Fianoo confirmed that GHALCA has signed an agreement with SuperSports to telecast this year’s prestigious Top 4 event.
The GHALCA Top 4 features the top four teams from the previous Ghana Premier League season. The eligible teams for the upcoming GHALCA Top 4 are Medeama, Bechem, Aduana Stars, and Kotoko.
The GHALCA president emphasized that GHALCA is keen on ensuring that the tournament reaches many viewers in Ghana. To achieve this, they have asked SuperSports to partner with a local television station.

The former CEO of Ashanti Gold explained why they signed an agreement with Super Sports to telecast the Top 4.
“We are an organization that is profit oriented but we also look at the interest of our competing clubs, that is why when SuperSports showed up, we agreed.” He stressed
In addition to the broadcasting agreement, Fianoo shared that GHALCA is actively exploring the possibility of securing a headline sponsorship from Ghana Gas and Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST).
“We are also in talks with Ghana Gas and Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation (BOST) for possible headline sponsorship,” he said.
The GHALCA Top 4 tournament is set to take place on August 6 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
