Ghanaian talent Forson Amankwah impressed for Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga as they defeated Austria Lustenau.

The 20-year-midfielder provided two crucial assists in his team’s resounding 4-0 victory away against Austria Lustenau.

Amankwah initiated the scoring when he skillfully assisted Roko Simic’s goal in the 21st minute, giving the Salzburg a 1-0 lead.

He continued to shine with his creative brilliance, providing another assist just four minutes later, setting up Oumar Solet for the Red and Whites’ second goal in the 25th minute.

Karim Konate scored Salzburg’s third goal in the 39th minute, giving them a commanding 3-0 lead at halftime.

After the halftime break, Oscar Gloukh scored Salzburg’s fourth goal of the game in the 58th minute. The match ended with a convincing 4-0 victory for Salzburg.

The former WAFA player has featured in 8 matches for Salzburg this season, scoring a goal and providing 2 assists.

Forson joined Salzburg in 2021 from Ghanaian side West African Football Academy (WAFA). He has also had loan stints with Austrian sides FC Liefering and Rheindorf Altach.
