The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will officially launch the Ghana Premier League new season today, Tuesday, August 29, 2023.
For sponsorship reasons, the league is known as the BetPawa Premier League.
The event is scheduled to take place at the Eastern Premier Hotel in the Eastern Region of Ghana.
The launch ceremony will be attended by President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku and Vice President Mark Addo of the GFA, Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif, Executive Council Members of the GFA,Chief Executive Officers, and top officials of the 18 Premier League Clubs as well as other invited guests.
This gathering of football luminaries promises an event filled with insights and expectations for the season ahead.

Medeama SC is the current holder of the league title after clinching it on the final day of the season with 60 points.
The 2023/24 BetPawa Premier League season will kick off on the weekend of Friday, September 15, through to Monday, September 18, 2023.
