Ghanaian forward Dan Agyei has officially joined English League One side Leyton Orient FC as they aim to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
The 26-year-old made the move from English league two side Crewe Alexandra, signing a two-year contract with his new club.
The English-born Ghanaian player showcased his exceptional abilities as he notched an impressive tally of 16 goals and five assists while playing for Crewe Alexandra, earning him recognition as the club’s Player of the Season.
Dan Agyei expressed his excitement about joining Leyton Orient FC and his determination to make a significant impact on the pitch.
“I’m the type of player who enjoys taking on defenders, creating chances, and providing an exciting spectacle for the fans, “Supporters can expect someone who will work hard and bring a dynamic presence to the pitch.” Agyei stated
The former Crewe Alexandra forward also mentioned his admiration for Orient’s playing style, emphasizing the freedom given to attackers. This alignment of football philosophy made the decision to join the club a perfect fit for him.
“I like the way Orient played and the attackers had a lot of freedom, so coming here felt like a great fit.” He added
Following Max Sanders’ recent arrival on a two-year deal last week, Agyei joins Orient as the second signing of the summer.
