Gladson Awako tells teammates-” League Is Not Over”

Midfield Maestro Gladson Awako has charged his teammates not to give up and has urged them to bounce back to winning ways.

The Phobians have a endured a worst start to their title defence with the Rainbow Club winning only 4 out of their 11 games played.

In an interview on the club’s website,summer signee Gladson Awako said;

“Last season is over though Hearts won every silverware, now we have to up our game if we want to win anything this season. We don’t need any distraction but rather full concentration. Now it’s about doing our talking on the pitch.

“The first part of the season is still ongoing. There are new players and changes and we need to work extra hard to achieve the ultimate.“We are growing as a squad and a team. We will try as hard as we can to improve and we will try to do that over the next few months.’We know the club demands to win in every game.”

He added, “We all want to make an impact. No one wants to miss any game and everyone wants to play their part and contribute to success.

“Sunday’s clash with Wonders will be a return to the Accra Sports Stadium after two weeks of being on the road. It is great playing in front of our home fans again.

“Winning as a team and bringing success to this club is so important and it will only help us improve because when you win together you only want more of it” He concluded.

Hearts Of Oak take on Techiman Eleven Wonders today in gameweek 13 at the famous Accra Hearts of Oak with 3pm the scheduled kickoff time.
