Former Black Stars and Hearts of Oak defender, Sam Johnson has hit back at the club in their quest to bring in a technical director ahead of the 2022/2023 football season.
According to Foyoo as he is affectionately known, the club lacks quality players and that’s where needs to be beefed up and not the technical bench.
“What happened to Hearts of Oak last year during their Africa campaign was the lack of experienced players. They need to bring in at least five (5) experienced players to add up to the squad,” Sam Johnson – Foyoo told OTEC Fm.
“Bringing in a technical director won’t add anything to their Africa campaign without experienced players” He added.
Hearts of Oak have been in the news in recent times to have shown interest in hiring former Schalke 04 and Salzburg manager Huub Stevens to replace Samuel Boadu.
