Samartex 1996 attacker, Benjamin Yorke does not want to be on rough edges with his current club if he happens to leave hence have directed clubs and agents persuing him to speak directly to the them for his services.
It had been rumoured that his manager wanted him to sign a pre- contract agreement with Hearts Of Oak which he declined.
Responding to such rumour, Benjamin Yorke said,
” Yes is true he (agent) told me to sign the pre-contract agreement with Hearts Of Oak but I told him I don’t want to have any problem with the club after playing here for 4yrs”
“So I asked him to direct all the suitors to deal directly with the club because me leaving shouldn’t be the problem”
Having played 24 matches this season, Yorke have scored 12goals and is the clubs top scorer of the season and second top scorer in zone 2 of the division one league behind Champions Babiani Goldstar’s Prince Kwabena Owusu who have netted 19 goals.
