Former AsanteKotoko midfielder Latif Anabila has revealed that he doesn’t see himself playing for the porcupine warriors for the second time anytime soon.

Speaking in an interview with Akoma FM, the lanky midfielder, he had a bad experience playing for the red and whites and that will hinder a future move to the Kumasi based club.

“I have so much respect for Kotoko and it’s supporters but I feel so much disappointed that the fans (Kotoko supporters) did not listen to my side of the story after hearing several issues and concluded.”

“I came to Kotoko because of the supporters. They showed  so much love to me prior to my coming, but I will say all what they heard about me was not true.”

“I am never a lazy player, many coaches, players and supporters who used to come to the training grounds will attest to it.
I am always working hard for myself and the team.”
“My doors are opened to any club because my contract with Bechem has ended but honestly speaking, it will be difficult to return to Kotoko, I am not sure that will happen”, he told Akoma FM.

Latif Anabila joined Asante Kotoko on three-year deal in October, 2020 from AshantiGold SC  but struggled with playing time which saw his contract being terminated.

Latif later joined Bechem United to play in the 2021/2022 Ghanapremier league season.
