Former Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko player, Charles Taylor says Ghanaian forward Iñaki Williams will not help the Black Stars in any way.

Inaki Williams makes Ghana debut against Brazil in September 2022

“We always want to rely on foreign based Ghanaian players, but the question is how many of these foreign-based players are starters in their respective clubs?” He quizzed.

In an interview on Akoma FM, the former Black  Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak forward described Ghanaians as people who like cheap things and prioritize finished goods.

He went on to say that he was pained when he heard some journalists saying that all the Black Stars woes were going to be solved when they secured players like Iñaki Williams and also labelling such journalists’ understanding of football as “suspicious”.

Charles Taylor also said the Europeans had better eyes and that is the reason why they did not give Iñaki Williams a lot of national call ups.

“His gameplay cannot guarantee us any proper title.
If the Spanish thought he was good enough, they would have convinced him and his brother to play for them and not Ghana.” He added.
