Bankroller for Elmina Sharks Papa Kwesi Ndoum has expressed his dissatisfaction at the teams current position in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
He admitted that they wouldn’t descend to this stage if they played their roles well.
The team is currently on the 17th position, 35 points with just two matches left but according to Ndoum, they didn’t drop to that position in just a day.
Speaking with Ahomka FM on Sports Center, he attributed their drastic change of performance to many things which he strongly believes money is not one of them but blamed everybody involve with the team including management, playing body, technical team for it.
“We didn’t get to that position in just a day, What pains me the most is teams like King Faisal can score us in Elmina, our own stadium, it’s really painful, we played with a team like Inter Allies and Liberty Professionals and they scored us”.
“With a great performance, Sharks could score teams like Kotoko, Hearts et all, Great Olympics drew with us in the 91st minutes at our own venue so we didn’t reach this stage in just a day, lot of things have happened to trigger this, technical team, players, management team are all to be blamed”. This wouldn’t be Sharks current stand if they all executed their roles well”.
The fearsome Sharks will rap up the season with a home game against Legon Cities at the Ndoum Sports Complex and travel to Obuasi to battle it out with the porcupine warriors.
