Former Black Stars and Accra Hearts of Oak forward,  Charles Taylor has said that the President of the Ghana football association,  Kurt E.S Okraku needs a maximum of 16years in office to be able to complete his intended projects.

Speaking on calls by the executive members to increase the mandate of the FA President from two to three terms, the former CAF Champions league winner revealed that he is in support of the move and wished if it could be extended to 16years.

“I agree with the GFA Exco on extending the term of office of the GFA President.

I think Kurt Okraku for instance needs 16 years to complete all the projects he has started. He can hand over to those who are interested after the 16 years”, Charles Taylor told Angel TV.

The term of Kurt Okraku is almost due and many have shown their interest to contest the incumbent for the seat. Notable among the aspirants are former Western regional football association chairman, Mr Kojo Yankah, Mr Jantuah of Berekum Chelsea and Ashford Tetteh Ocloo formerly of Accra Hearts of Oak.
