High flying left back for King Faisal Babies has revealed his aims for the ongoing 2021/2022 league campaign after an amazing run of form by the Kumasi based side.
The Insha Allah Boys currently sit second of the league standings joint on 23 points with leaders Asante Kotoko.
King Faisal Babies have picked up 7 wins, two losses and two draws after 11 round of matches.
Speaking to Edubiaseman FM, Samuel Kusi highlighted on his side’s best performance ever in the league and revealed his ambitions for the new year.He said;
“We really playing well and we will not get carried away by that,there is still a long way to go as we only in the first round.
“The senior players are really helping us to improve, dressing room is motivated and we will give our all for the season.
“Yes, we are in a good position on the league but our aim is not winning the league however the boys are ready to make history and win it .
“I am having a fantastic season myself, the local base players I believe should get more recognition by the Black Stars for more exposure.
“Playing for King Fasial Babies is really a pleasure,its all about passion, am not here to make more money.I don’t regret playing such a big club.
“Lastly, I would like to plead with the supporters to continue rallying support to King Faisal Babies and come in their numbers to support us when they face Eleven Wonders on Sunday” He concluded.
King Fasial Babies will lockhorns with Techiman Eleven Wonders in game week 12 on Sunday.
