Hearts of Oak has announced the mutual agreement to part ways with Central African Republic striker Yassan Ouatching after his one-season tenure with the club.

In an official statement released on Thursday, June 29, 2023, the club confirmed the departure of the Central African Republic international.

“Hearts of Oak and Yassan Ouatching have mutually agreed to part ways. We extend our best wishes to him for his future endeavours,” the club stated.

During his time at Hearts of Oak, the 24-year-old player made 13 appearances but was unable to score a goal. Ouatching, who joined the Phobians on a free transfer in 2022, initially signed a two-year contract with the club.

Yassan Ouatching made his debut in a Ghana premier league match against Aduana Stars earlier this season, showcasing his potential. Although he didn’t find the back of the net during his stint at Hearts of Oak, the club recognizes his efforts and wishes him success moving forward.

The Phobians finished the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season in 12th place with 46 points after 34 games.
