Ghanaian international Osman Bukari continued to exhibit his excellent form for Red Star Belgrade as they secured a draw against Swiss club Young Boys in the UEFA Champions League (UCL) on Wednesday night.

The 24-year-old winger played a pivotal role by providing an assist and scoring a goal for Red Star, ultimately salvaging a crucial point in the game.

He brilliantly set up Cherif Ndiaye to score the opening goal of the match, giving the hosts a 1-0 lead after just 35 minutes.

However, this lead was short-lived, as Filip Ugrini equalized for Young Boys in the 48th minute.

The game remained highly competitive, with both sides eager to claim the upper hand.

In the 61st minute, the stakes were raised as Cedric Itten converted a penalty for Young Boys, giving them a 2-1 lead.

Bukari once again proved his worth in the 88th minute when he found the back of the net to level the score at 2-2 with a remarkable goal.

For his exceptional performance, Osman Bukari received the Man-of-the-Match award after the game.

The former Accra Lions winger has scored two goals and provided an assist in two games in this season’s Champions League.

RedStar Belgrade’s next challenge will take them to Germany to face RB Leipzig on matchday 3 of the Champions League.

Osman Bukari made his international debut for Ghana in 2021 against South Africa and has since earned 13 caps, scoring 3 goals for the senior national team.
