Asante Kotoko head coach Dr Prosper Nartey Ogum has revealed his dissatisfaction in his performance yesterday when they defeated Legon Cities 2-1.
The Porcupines defeated the Money Tycoons Legon Cities in an intensed clash which was played away at the Theatre Of Dreams in Dawu due to maintenance works going on at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Legon Cities were the constantly hitting Asante Kotoko with a lot of pressure knocking on the door to break the deadlock.
Cameroonian forward Frank Mbella pounced on a lose ball from Legon Cities and slotted it past Ofori Entwi to give the visitors an early lead.
Ahmed Rahman grabbed the equaliser to tie the game apiece at 1-1.
Frank Mbella again arrived on a neat cross from Stephen Amankona to lash home the lead again for the Porcupines.
After the game, coach Ogum said;
“I wasn’t happy with the way we played, if you clearly look at the game you will notice this his not how we play.
“We were disjoined when they scored the equaliser, we were abit disappointed because the goal conceded was a bad goal.
“I had to tell the boys to keep their heads straight in the dressing room and focus on winning the game of which paid off.
“It wasn’t a good performance at all” He concluded.
