Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus scored two goals in his first league start for Dutch giants Ajax as they demolished Heerenveen by 5goals to zero on Saturday afternoon.
Kudus, who was on the verge of sealing a deal away from the club in the summer transfer window after having limited minutes was on top of his game in his first league start of the season.
Davy Klassen scored the opener after four minutes and Kenneth Taylor added the second eight minutes later with Dusan Tadic providing both assist.
Three minutes into the second half, Kudus scored a sumptuous goal to make it 3-0 on the 48th minute mark.
Kudus made it 4-0 to Ajax in the 59th minute with a close range finish before Brian Brobbey added the 5th in the 70th minute.
Kudus has now scored four goals with an assist in all competitions this season for Ajax.
Ajax are top of the league log with 18points in 6league games in the 2022/2023 Eredivisie league season.
