Ghana international Alexander Djiku is being targeted by Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, as they seek to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
According to French media outlet L’Équipe, the 28-year-old Strasbourg star has received a formal offer from Nottingham Forest.
The French-born Ghanaian player will become a free agent next month when his contract with Strasbourg expires at the end of this month. Other clubs, such as Lille, Besiktas, and Mainz, have also shown interest in signing the defender.
Strasbourg, who recently secured their Ligue 1 status, aims to retain Djiku following an investment by BlueCo, the owners of Chelsea Football Club.
