Former Hearts of Oak striker Sadat Karim has officially joined Greek second tier club Apollon Smyrnis.
The 31-year-old who left Swedish Superettan team Halmstads BK after his contract expiration, penned a one-and-a-half year deal with the Greek side after passing his mandatory medical.
Karim joined Halmstads in January 2019 and went on to make 126 appearances, scoring 24 goals and providing 21 assists.
Moving to Sweden in 2013, Sadat has haf stints with BW 90 IF, Landskrona, and Prespa Birlik.
Smyrnis are now playing in the Greek super league 2 after being demoted from Greece’s top flight at the end of the 2021-22 season.
