The Strasbourg defender, who is rumored to be looking for a new challenge, has attracted interest from Hoffenheim.
Djiku has one year left on his contract with Strasbourg and was presented with an extension offer in May. However, according to president Marc Keller, Djiku is “thinking about it.”
Hoffenheim’s bid price has not been made public, but Strasbourg is anticipated to approve the move provided the price is fair.
The 27-year-old was a standout performer for Strasbourg last season, appearing in 31 league games.
In recent months, he has also cemented his place in the Black Stars setup, winning Footballer of the Year at the 2022 Ghana Football Awards.
Many European teams are interested in the strong center back, with Sevilla showing the most interest earlier in the summer window.
