The Black Princesses of Ghana have jet-off with a stunning 3-0 victory over Benin in the opener of the maiden edition of the WAFU B U20 Girls Cup of Nations at the Baba Yara Sports stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Coach Basigi’s side dominated larger part of the first department of the game, grabbing an early goal through Maafia Nyame in the 35th minute when she found Comfort Yeboah’s cross and rounded it beautifully into the net.

Two more goals from Mary Amponsah and Stella Nyamekye in the second half ensured that Ghana records a convincing 3-0 victory over their Benin counterparts.

Skipper Stella Nyamekye was adjudged the best player of the match after putting up a scintillating performance.
The Black Princesses will take on Ivory Coast in their second group game next week.
